Simons Bio

Keith Simons - Director of D1 Quarterback Private Training

Keith Simons has been churning out great quarterbacks for over 35 years.  The NCAA, junior college and high school national record books are filled with the names of the QB's who have been tutored by Simons. He has turned out All Conference, All American and record setting quarterbacks on a yearly basis.

Coach Simons knows what it takes to make a Division 1 quarterback because he was one.  After being named the Washington State Player of the Year in 1976, Simons signed a D1 scholarship to play at Oregon State University - " I know what skills and mechanics that worked for me in my playing days and I understand and believe that the QB needs to be coached a certain way in order to be successful on game night "

D1 Quarterback is all about the repetition of great fundamental work.  " The difference between good and poor QB's is basic mechanics.  If you take the basic throwing motions out of the picture, every good quarterback has great balance, rhythm and tempo with their lower body and feet.  That translates to getting the ball out of their hand on time and getting it out accurately.  It all starts with the feet and that's he first skill we tech at D1 Quarterback "
